I know, I know. Two shops? What? Nothing. Today is the official launch (internetly speaking) of Unknown Arts, Burlington’s only artist owned and operated print shop. Here’s our official Unknown Writeup
Unknown Arts was created by a group of friends in the fall of 2009. Their dream was to have a job that allowed them freedom of artistic expression and the opportunity to creatively interact with the world around them. You know, something more than just a way to pay the bills…
We are the only shop in town where you get the opportunity to work directly with the artists and printers who will be creating your custom work.
We’re also the only local printing business where you’ll find the owners designing and printing their own personal projects. At Unknown Arts we’re not trying to fool anyone and we’re not out to get rich. Our goal is to create a productive work environment that is both inspiring and entertaining. And we’d like to share it with everyone we can!
We’re laid back, easy to work with, and passionate about what we do.

Late nights and lots of coffee. Some awesome in between the refills. I finally got to work with Mr Haulenbeek and the guys down at case-mate again, this time a couple pieces for their newest phone case creation tool, IMakeMyCase.com this site is so sick i cant even explain it to you. although im pretty sure thats what they hired me for. I finally got to do some more legit green screen work. i call it a win
Outside of motion work we gots some more poster design, which is rapidly becoming one of my more favoritest pastimes

I know. my website is hurt. It’s disjointed, boring, and the only purpose it serves is to give my resume a home. Well, me and your mother(hiyoo!) talked about it, and decided its time for something new. We’re gonna give you the keys to the car. Now wait, your curfew is still the same so don’t get too excited. And it’s going to be atleast a couple weeks before it gets those side flames put on, but you can wait that long right? NO CHOICE

I had the honor of creating Save the Date mailers for a buddy’s wedding recently. I dont know his other half too well so I gave them a few options. He sounds pretty lucky because she chose the coolest one. 
We did however change that chicken to a goat. go figure. i still like the chicken
Oh the joys of being self-employed, how little I knew of ye. Ye? yee? I dont care. Since going freelance, I think I actually work more hours then I did when I was working for someone else. Granted, those hours are sometimes sprinkled throughout the day and night, but they are there. Oh yes, they are there. I have so many cool things to post! but most are not completed yet so maybe rushing to the internet isn’t the best plan of action.

heres a character design I was playing with for a commercial in the works
fortunately/unfortunately, we ended up going in a different direction. I was sad to see him go so I will most likely use him in something down the line. I’ve played with a few names for him, comment with some options and you just may win the prize..of..naming?
Also here are some random sketches done while rendering some animation for super secret tv project alpha zero. sounds intriguing doesn’t it. mmNOT YET!
