Building steam with a grain of salt
Working in the Quirky office is a crazy experience. The sheer amount of work pulled off in this tiny little space is mindblowing. And it happens 7 freaking days a week. I managed (barely) to capture one products development, from idea to finished product (to finished video), all in those 7 little days this place is like crack for people who like to make things

shells on the neck
This is an older project but I never posted it. I got to work with John Ritter on his 2010 european tour last(last?) year and while we wannted to go big and do full stage visuals, it never ended up panning out. Here are some boards and a couple concept bits and bobs we went with a mix of 2d and 3d rendered with a flat vector look in order to do some elaborate camera moves I...

I promise I'm not being lazy
I hate when I randomly check my website and realize I haven’t said anything in a month. If my website activity reflected my real world activity, I probly would have gone mad from boredom by now. Our artshow was a complete and total success. People showed up and were actually interested in what we are doing. so, you know, thats awesome. there are more pictures hidden inside this one....

Come see the space, buy some tees and check some art, or check some tees and buy some art, either way it will be awesome and there will be booze.  also don’t ask us what ‘atelier’ means. BATTLE ROYALE
cleaning out my computer, i found the as yet unposted photoshop battle between myself and a good friend of mine, David Miller of betaimages.com. Working off each other’s last layer, we tossed the file back and forth, 5 consecutive rounds. Hitting below the belt was encouraged, failing to humiliate the other was frowned upon, and a touch of class, while appreciated, was not required. now i...

procrastination is opportunity's natural assassin
I know. my website is hurt. It’s disjointed, boring, and the only purpose it serves is to give my resume a home. 2009 Ar Thop
As my time at Select Design came to a tumultuous end (1270 SATs indeed), I ‘technically’ finished on a good note. This year’s art hop revolved around my obsession with custom designed little dudes and everybody got down and rocked it. I also got to meet tons of other artists and hopefully made some connections that will result in collaborative work in the near future. I had...
