what day is it?
I’m starting to sound like a broken record..no sleep, tons of coffee, make stuff. rinse and repeat. but this record is fuckin goood. also that reminds me, awesome Burlington Records project through Unknown Arts comin up. couple days.
there are tons of projects afoot. some big, some small. all awesome.
are you shpongled? I got to create a poster for crazy trance band Shpongle to promote an upcoming show/new album. Instead of going nuts with this one, I decided to focus on their album artwork, which was already super cool and something they were very proud of.
Thennn I got to work on a ‘quick’ web banner for Case-Mate, and their new product, the goBare protective film. I am totally that guy who leaves the factory plastic films on new stuff(phones, ipods, couches, etc) long after its deemed socially acceptable. I’ve ended friendships over people peeling those off ‘for’ me. Well, I mean, I haven’t, but..I’ve thought about it.
This was one of the first times I’ve had to create something in 3d to look actually realistic. Process was super awesome and I learned a boat load, which eventually led me to be able to tackle a different project, which will hopefully pass into free posting range sometime mid week
